Cherry Blossom Tree
Cherry blossoms, night sky,
How I wonder, wonder why.
Why the knight so vast and tall,
'Neath my feet, should he fall?
Taking all yet giving none,
From the peasant's life he shunned.
Brilliantly not made of steel,
From the blade the pain he'd feel.
Piercing through his pride to great,
Lust and pride to be his fate.
Rubies, gold o'er his mind they take,
Only the sharpened silver could wake.
Turning down their warnings seen,
His rubies now drip in the stream.
Warm crimson growing blossoms high,
'Neath the cold vast twinkling sky.
