Love, Lightning, and Lies
As lightning strikes from Heaven,
The ground trembles before me,
Rainy days have seen no love,
Nor the rain that falls before me.
My feet buried well into,
I grow unable to move.
The rain washes me with sympathy,
And caress my skin gently,
And as I stare into the sky,
The moment left for love and lies,
A flash!
And takes my life with empathy.
