A Poet's Heart
The sky paints a picture.
In its vastness, the meaning is lost.
Smoldering at the Eastern peak, smogged by
Tufts of grey clouds, each one—a puncture.
A puncture to the heart.
But through the dismal display, blueness seeps out of
Red loneness.
Slowly, white puffs submerge the grey, and red diminishes to a
Bright yellow orb of heat and power.
As the corner turns, all that's left is the blueness of the blue
With it's whitened sponges of creativity and hope.
A new day.
The sky paints a picture.
A picture of a poet's heart. ?
