Secrets
How long can the secrets of my soul
Remain untouched
And unperturbed?
They sleep in my heart
Tossing and turning
String to awaken
and burst forth
To dance on my tongue.
Untouched
The hideous truth
Lies beneath blankets of secrecy
Waiting for the fire
Of Anger or Pity or Guilt
to ignite its waiting wick
Explode
And rip me apart
To reveal itself
