Surban Hell
A part of me has died today.
This fighting has gone for so long.
It consumes me,
Eats me up,
Leaves me with airless lungs.
Numb from my head to my toes,
Our little tragedy has finally climaxed.
I can’t wait to watch the falling action,
The resolution,
If there is ever is a real one, anyway.
But, how could there be?
We still have our minds to keep the conflicts alive,
So they can eat us up forever.
Until the belly of the beast is finally full.
Oh sweet suburban hell,
I wrap my arms around you tonight.
