Oh thanks for being a good friend
for sticking up for me
when I couldn't
helping me
when I fell
making me feel loved
as I wanted to be
but i wish i could say these things for you
you made me think I could trust you
when I couldn't
you made me think
you actually cared about me
when you didn't
so thank you for not sticking up for me
when i was teased
instead, helping tease me
not helping me,
when i needed it
instead, walking away
and most of all
not making me feel loved
when i wanted to be
instead, not caring
so thanks for being a good friend
