All Gone
He was there, but never for the reasons I thought,
He said the sweetest things, and all he said I bought.
The love I felt, was never real,
The pictures and the words, they were all a silent deal.
The messages that went through, covered up his lies,
Deep inside I never believed, and the time began to fly.
Still now I don’t believe, he acted well and told his tales,
I listened close, and I began to fall deeper into the well.
All I thought was filling the hole that never was,
And now I lay here with all I wanted gone.
