Scrawling words on a blank page,
A pen scratching back and forth
across the sheet of paper
However it's defined,
it erases the pain...
at least for a while
It whisks me away
to a world of my creation,
where I command
both destiny and fate
I forget about the real world,
where I have no control,
which is precisely why
I love
Writing

Thanks :D I'd almost forgotten what it's like to have someone compliment my poetry. It's been so long since I've let anyone read my poems! It's kind of refreshing to put my poems back out there...
