The Aftermath of Death is Love
Be careful what you wish for,
It just might come true,
Be careful who you die for,
They might have killed you,
Why does it take someone to die for people to love,
Why is it that violence seems to have all the answers to the questions we ask,
Why is it that so many die alone,
Why are so many so callus and cold,
They really need to know,
Where they’re really gonna go,
Nothing lasts forever,
Well that’s not true,
My faith no man can sever,
My god is for real,
Why does it take someone to die for people to love,
Why is it that violence seems to have all the answers to the questions we ask,
Why is it that so many die alone,
Why are so many so callus and cold,
Read me out and open my heart,
Bleed me out and Peal me apart,
Look inside of my disdained state of mind,
There’s no need to knock,
My hearts door is open,
I stare at your cloth,
That I wish I had stole,
Why does it take someone to die for people to love,
Why is it that violence seems to have all the answers to the questions we ask,
Why is it that so many die alone,
Why are so many so callus and cold,
