Dreaming
Here I go again,
Why this dream again?
Why is this the only thing I dream about,
Why are you the only person I dream about?
Here we are-sitting together in the coolness of the night,
Just talking and chilling.
I'm thinking secretly to myself, just listening,
There you are across from me.
You're getting up and moving closer,
I sit still and wonder why.
We continue to talk and I observe,
The deep look in your eyes and the moving of your hand.
Your hand gently placed on my face,
Makes me forget what I was going to say.
The butterflies in my stomach are screaming,
And my heart won't stop fastly beating.
I breathe in slowly and continue to gaze.
Your other hand grasps my own.
I close my eyes and just wait,
This feeling is like no other.
You kissing me, beneath the moonlight,
You here with me under the stars.
It feels like forever but I don't care,
I don't ever want this to stop.
The early morning light peeps through my curtain and destroys my lovely night scene.
Farewell my favorite dream,
Well, until tonight.
