Depression ( My Guest)
Depression lingers at my door.
As a good hostess, it is my duty to welcome him in.
But Depression is a bad guest.
He invites his friends:
Sadness, Meaninglessness, Loneliness,
Without asking me first.
He stays longer than he was invited for.
He takes over my house and tries to control me.
He tries to make me forget that this is my house, and I make the rules.
He does what he wants and goes places he's not allowed to.
He does what he will to me, then just leaves me there damaged.
Why wont he just leave!
Depression is a bad guest.
I think I shall throw him out now...
