The truth is.
I hate you.
I know you feel the same,
I always knew.
You treated me,
like I was nothing,
like I was something that wasn’t yours.
But the truth is,
I am yours,
and you can’t deny that.
Never Could.
I’m your flesh and blood,
I have your nose.
And some say your smile.
But do you really have a smile?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen it.
Even when we ate our morning breakfast,
eggs and grapefruit and rye toast.
I was the only one who liked rye toast.
Yet you still treated me,
like I was nothing,
like I didn’t matter.
But I do matter,
I have to right?
I’m your daughter.
And I love you.
