When the tears slide down my face, I don’t worry.
The tears take away my pain,
And I know there is someone holding every single one
Even though I can’t see them
I’d like to think that everyone we lose and have lost
Can see us
Every second, every minute, of every day
And as we send out our sorrows
They stand their ground
And stay by our side
To catch our tears
The tear people aren’t fairies
They don’t prance around and wear sparkly dresses
And when we cry
They don’t help us by laughing or using magic,
But they don’t need to
Because they are the ones that give us the feeling
That we are not alone
They will listen,
Hold their bottles,
Catch our tears,
And keep out their cushions,
For when we fall
The tear people are there to catch us

My Dad passed away when I was little, and this is something I like to think about. It's pretty good for grief :)
