Lost Causes And Tragic Endings
Shh.
The hope is too
hopeless.
The want just isn't
enough.
And the need is too
powerful
for just one person.
The longing aches in my heart,
tearing away the irrational.
But the rational knows no different.
Because when you walk into the room,
nothing matters
anymore.
Just you.
And me.
My tears are terrified
of the world I know.
My eyes smile when I know you're
near.
My heart laughs at the dark humor
that I find in your presence.
But along with the laugher,
it cries.
And aches.
And burns.
You.
No one knows.
Especially not me.
You.
My words are black against the yellow sky.
But who cares, when no one
reads?
You.
I.
Love.
You.
