On the Inside
On the inside
Where nothing is ever found
Where I am never thirsty
And a soul isn’t around
It seems always dark
Where light slimly peaks through
Where my heart is just in pain
And my life is just a joke,
On the outside
I smile so you won’t notice
I gleam as if nothing’s wrong
And dance as if no one is watching,
But on the inside
Everything’s in pieces
I never smile
I never gleam
This is a dark side of me
I always cry in the rain
So no one see’s my tears
This is just on the inside
Don’t be scared.
