A team
Your ears flicker waiting for the bell.
When it rigs we race off our hearts beating together as one to the lashing of your hoofs on the arena ground. We approach the jumps with all the force we have. Our minds together.
We flawlessly lollop over the jumps.
We relay against the timer.
Against odds we end in the winner’s circle. The champion of the day, the winner our lives. We share as one. A team.
