The Place I Call Home
The whispers in the wind are calling me,
to turn around and find you.
They make shape to the curves of my body,
where you would fit if you were here,
now and forever.
They call me from the depths of my soul,
from the empty spaces in my heart,
where you would be found,
where I once thought you were lost.
The sound of the waves are all that comforts me,
The sound comes from within my imagination,
Where I find myself waking up to you by my side,
Never leaving,
Never saying goodbye.
The ocean calls me to run away,
in to the sunset,
beyond the world,
where the sand was in love with the sea,
and all that is left,
are the whispers in the wind,
that are calling me,
to turn around and find you,
standing there,
now and forever,
never to let go.
And,
now I am,
home.
