Rivers flow
So I am a river.


I flow like the mellifluous legato of an orchestra
Like the steady breath of a child with a stethoscope to its chest
Like the scene of a radiant sunset


Like cement hugging bricks in place
Like panda bears crunching on leafy bamboo
Like the velocity of blood circulating


Like birds recreating their nests after a storm
Like sunlight trying to touch the ground of a shady forest
Like an unshielded torch continuing to burn in torrential rain


The river traveled straight
Now there are forks in the river
But no matter what
The river will flow
