Fade Away
My soul is gone
I’ve changed too much
I don’t even know what I should look like anymore
maybe if I could unzip my skin
I’d step out and see the real me
But the real me is gone
Drowning in bloody tears
No one notices
I’ve become a lost thought
The moonlight shines down on me
Watching this sad little girl
I’m not afraid to cry in the rain
No one can see what’s happening
Sheets of rain fall, covering my lies
I waste too much air
Take up too much space
I wouldn’t even care
If soon I fade away
