We are tough as nails
My mind is set
I am ready to sail
I’m going to run
My body will ache
It’s not just for fun
My sights are clear
My gun is loaded
I have no fear
My platoon is together
My friends are near
We are as light as a feather
August can’t come soon enough
Basic will be tough
But I still won’t be tough enough
For what’s coming ahead
