Slowly it goes by
Glance once
Glace twice.
Two minutes gone by
Only wishing the day would go by faster
You’re only wishing you life away.
Soon you’ll get a job.
Then you’ll get out of school
Next you’ll find the one…eventually.
After that is marriage
Now you’ll be wanting kids
They’ll be in school
Slowly glancing at the clock
Doing the same thing you did
Wishing their day would go by faster.
Then they’ll be like you
Not enjoying the time we have.
High school only happens once
Don’t wish life away,
Wish it to take longer!
