What If?
What if crayons magically created shooting stars
Whenever someone needed a wish
From above they suspiciously fell
To grant our wishes, one and all.
What if dreams suddenly transformed into reality
As if every want and wish appeared true
And everywhere people cheered joyfully
While they gloated their extravagant car or happily cuddled with a new loved one.
What if your bad thoughts became your words
Even though you are determined to keep them bottled up.
After people discovered what honestly streamed through your mind
Would many “friends” still stand by your side?
What if nobody thought for themselves
As if all personality vanished
When it completely evaporated from our minds
Could anyone still be considered an individual?
What if nobody had imagination
And everyone thought exactly the same
Because what we dream and imagine mold our character.
Just think about what this world would turn into
Without any books, games, daydreaming, or wishing upon a star?
So as long as imagination exists in us all
We can progress to anywhere and achieve anything.
