Red Roses
Red Roses, Red Roses
The color of blood
You reach out for help amid a flood
And yet I turn and leave them dead
While they take their dying breath I hear
How can you shatter me with nary a tear
I turn to see their carcasses gone
Only a stain from their last shed tears
Red Roses, red rose
I loved you so long
How, oh how can you be gone
