My scars are still scars.
But they will be stars.
I hope sooner. But probably later.
Healing is a process
Laziness won't make progress.
I'm scarred inside. Starry outside.
And only one
can see through the front.
and he turns me from scarry to starry.

This was written for my friend Brian, he was there for me at a time when I was hurting and going through a rough patch with a mutual best friend. He pulled us both through.

Thank you so much for commenting. I don't always mean for my poetry to be confusing. But the thing is, and I don't mean to sound selfish, I write for myself and not really anyone else. So what I understand is different than what other people do. If that makes sense.

OMG! this is beautiful! It was a bit confusing but I think that the confusion emphasized the whole point of the poem <3 I'm glad you had such a great friend to comfort you. I have two best friends when I go through hard times: my friend Cori and poetry :) I like your use of language and your flow alot, too! Wow...hope this isn't too long :)
