Coma of Pain
Head busting,
window smashing,
drunk driver,
rushed to hospital,
immediately.
Red, white, and blue,
everywhere,
panicking starts,
cold suddenly,
shivering,
shuddering
scared,
voices everywhere,
then black.
Freezing rain,
colder than ice,
eyes flutter open,
white room,
What to do?
Look around?
wait?
scream?
possibly all 3?
door opens,
no one there,
then I know;
I'm dead...
How could I
have possibly
survived?
Why must the
good and innocent
die young,
and the drunk
leave with
just an
injury?
