Silent Screams
Tonight I'm sitting so still
my heartbeat's
the only thing that
keeps me moving.
Rocking back and forth
slowly to the rhythm
and the flow that keeps it going.
Would you come appear beside me right now?
Give me something meaningful to think about?
Because caught up in this little world,
nothing much is promising.
The ghosts eyes close to play tricks on reality,
and recently I've been seeing things a little too clearly.
Tonight I'm missing you so much
every star counts for
a tear that's fallen:
unwashed and free
for the pillow to soak.
Breath hangs empty in the air
my mouth is open
and that's when I scream
Would you come appear beside me right now?
Give me something meaningful to think about?
Because caught up in this little world,
nothing much is promising.
The ghosts eyes close to play tricks on reality,
and recently I've been seeing things a little too clearly.
