Waking Sunrise

Pale blue flushed with kindling pink;
Clouds shattered on the broken sky;
Horizon chilled with hazy azure;
Silent waters reach out for distance peak;
Lapping onto unsteady land;
Taking it into the deeps of eternal sea;
No surface reflections noticed in the darkness;
No sunrise flickering in the morn heavens greetings;
But in the world above the world is waking;
Fresh dew on sands silk;
Ripples in the ocean of opening eyes;
My waking sunrise;
The beauty of the beach.
