The Road
There is a road I had once seen
It led to wonder, to dreams
Should you follow that road
Into the unknown
Or should you turn back
Say this is whack
And forget the road even exists
I tell you today my friend
Don’t let anything keep you from following the road
Walk on
Tall and strong
Fight the long fight of life
And survive
Refuse to turn
Refuse to burn
Refuse to be the one that didn’t go on
Imagine all the possibilities
Of all the insanity
Shrug off your insecurity
And go
Lead the path
Yet follow the road
Now is the time for us to fly
So fly high
We are no longer hatchlings in our mother’s nest
Our wings are stretched
All we have to do is jump
So jump
There is a road I had once seen
Filled with wonder and dreams
I say follow it
But that’s just me
