Favorite Quote:
"Poetry flows. Right from my heart, to the paper. The best poems create themselves within your heart, and your mind...well, the mind interprets them... See, think of your heart as the artist, and your mind as the audience... get it?"

Footsteps echoing on the icy black lake
Lights glowed from the midst of the piled rubble
The stillness of the night air quieted my nerves
And tree leaves remained unmoved
While the blades of grass stood uncomfortably still.
Even the stars seemed to dim
As a white dove commanded the moon's light
Bounding through the night
With the grace of season's change.

The author's comments:
Much of my inspiration comes from the night; the moon, the stars, the wind. When "Silent Night" began forming in my mind, I was walking down the street, nothing abnormal in the night, nothing in exciting or life changing. Honestly I never would have written this poem at all had it not been for a bird. It appeared to be a white dove flying through the air. Its' color in contrast to the sky held my gaze until it was out of sight. And slowly "Silent Night" was created.
