Brown eyed boy
If I were to save him
my world would fall apart.
If we held on through the rain, through the tears,
my heart could dye wool.
If I touched him,
he would break.
His eyes would melt ice,
his tongue would freeze water
-- but it's beautiful when he smiles.
If we held tight through the fog and the shouts,
while my world fell beneath my feet..
If I were to save him..
Would his heart soar into the unknown?
Would mine plummet to lay with the world?
Or in saving him, would I save myself?
