Out The Door
Days and nights, I dream of where you
aren't
Are you watching me, from a
shining star?
It was hard to see you go
Yet I know you'll have better days.
These are some of the times I wish
to see you face
I know you're in a happier place
We'll always have memories
of destiny
I never said "good bye",
and knowing that makes me
cry
One day we saw you there,
the next we realised it wasn't fair.
I wish I could see your smile once more,
to see you sitting near the
restroom door.
I wish I could see you play,
and hear those kind words you have to say
Saying if everything is alright,
but then you go into the light
Just one more day to be with you,
and all the things we had to do.
When we finally had to part,
it was as if I had a hole in my heart
Since you left my thoughts have been
shattered
All I hear is an empty clatter.
When I look above, I know
that there is someone there
to love.
