She Finally Won
Her blonde hair hides her eyes,
Backing up all her lies,
That he doesn’t hit her,
And makeup and long sleeves,
Help them all believe,
He doesn’t abuse her,
She lives for the day,
When he will pay,
For what he does to her,
And she’ll stand tall,
She won’t fall,
And let him get the best of her,
They’ll never understand,
Why she stays with this man,
Who continually degrades her,
But she can’t go anywhere,
Because he always finds her there,
And back home he drags her,
So she’ll live through the pain,
She’ll try and stay sane,
Until he finally leaves her,
She’ll be strong,
And she’ll carry on,
Until he beats her,
One too many times,
He finally crossed her last line,
When he abused her,
She took a gun,
And finally won,
He would never again hurt her,
No, she wasn’t sad,
She didn’t even feel bad,
That she killed him before he could kill her.
