Cast Away Mentality

I lost my mind.
Sunk in the storm,
carried to sea.
The waves of youth
took it from me.
Thought it was fun
to hold my breath.
Excitement drowned
the fear of loss,
of minds unfound.
Risk gives freedom,
but loss forces
captivity.
Youth's unrealized
vulnerability.
My sanity
has swept to shore.
I fear the tide
may suck me in,
And forever lost my mind my mind will reside.
