Sands of Time
The time ticks around me,
The restraints are chocking my neck,
My wrists are bound,
My feet tied,
To the sands of time.
It ticks around me,
Each second I lose,
I gain nothing from losing,
Even one small second,
Becouse there is so much to do,
In so little time,
And the sands of time are against me.
I want to scream,
I want to yell,
I want to break free,
From my enemy,
Time.
It kills me,
It keeps me from living,
The sands of time are against me.
I must try to work against them,
I have to get it all done afterall,
For if I don't,
It could mean the end for me,
And the sands of time are against me.
So I do what anyone else would do,
When time is clicking against them,
When they can hear the ringing in their ears,
Each time a second is lost,
I take my bound wrists,
And my tied feet,
And I try to breathe throw the restraints on my neck,
I look to the sun,
And declare that I will,
Get this done.
But still the sands of time,
Work against me.
