Nothing Can Speak Without a Voice

The thoughts fluttered out of her brain
But before they met the paper
They died
The words combusted before her eyes into thin air
She tried to explain over and over again
But no words would come out
Because there weren’t any words left to say
She hoped that maybe the pure nothingness would say enough
But it didn't
Because nothing can speak without a voice
