Where Will You Be When I Die?
Where will you be when I die?
Will you be at home laughing with your family, while I reminisce on our past love?
Or will you be crying alone in the dark, wishing you had put me above?
Where will you be when I die?
Will you be kissing your wife, moved on and happy?
Will you watching your children get married?
Where will you be when I die?
Will you be wishing I was still in your arms?
Will you be wishing you hadn’t let me go?
Will you even remember my name?
Or am I just another girl who you caused pain?
Where will you be when I die?
Tell me love, will you still be alive?
When I die, where will you be?
Running wild, living life like the free?
Where will you be when I die?
I don’t know, but it sure won’t be by my side.

Quite sad, and the feeling of more than a little helplessness. I can tell it's from the heart, but that makes it all the more painful to read (for an emotional reader, at least).
It reminded me a bit of The Incredible String Band's "First Girl I Loved."
The greatest kinds of love never abandon us even in death.

There's no god. There's no religion. There's only life, what you do with YOUR life, who YOU let affect YOUR life. Bad things happen to everyone, you just have to learn to deal with them.
