Through your words, your thoughts, your prayers
Through your memories, through theirs
Through faded photographs
And long-lost souvenirs.
I want to live forever
Through the sheer number
Of my actions
Through the force
Of my reactions
Through the very core
Of who I am;
I want to live forever
But your minds
Won't live forever
And
Neither will this world.
I want to live forever
Somehow, some way
I'll find
To endure
To escape
To fade to yellow, not
