His broadsword glistens
Unsheathed yet unstained.
A mask of snow, his face
Holds no ruddy bloodlust.
Still, obsidian eyes smolder
With repressed fury as he
Waits to join the wild fray.

I like the lines
"A mask of snow, his face
Holds no ruddy bloodlust."
That really sets a good contrast when you introduce obsidian eyes.
