Blind
I cannot tell a tear from a drop of water;
a lie formed with random words from pure truth.
It is useless. Staring away into the blackness.
A hole of nothing even after I open my eyes.
Hopelessly searching for even the faintest ray of light.
It is entirely my fault. I realize it.
Never wanted to listen to anyone,
now no one wants to listen to me.
No one cares about the blind girl's story.
I am certainly not the only possessing one.
I cannot tell black from white; fire from ice.
I don't see things the way I use to
in so many different ways.
I matured but still have a dept to pay off
of mistakes I carry around trying so hard to fix
