Walk Away
My female friends always ask "Why walk away"
when I see running down my male friends face,
It's not because I don't care or I don't want to be there,
It's because I do care but can't be there,
I feel what they feel and see what they see,
but I can't stay strong when they look at me.
They're the strong ones and I'm weak, I could cry for years because I'm so meek,
I don't like to see them hurt or in pain and I fear I'll make it worse if my words are displayed.
