where are you going where have you been
I stand at the edge of two worlds, two thoughts, and two lives
I’ve seen the seas I’ve seen the mountains I lived amongst the stars and in the farthest depths of my mind
I’ve seen the edges of the earth I’ve been running with the wolves and learning from the masters
I’ve seen the fire roaring and the moons up high a world all grey and skies that cry
I stand my ground against the hordes
I’ve been forges by time and seasoned with rhyme
The world I see beneath my feet is soft and green it holds hope for a new beginning a milestone in life
I’ve ridden the waves and seen the sights but now I move on and on again till my time is up
I’ve seen the rise to power and survived the fall
Within myself I’ve seen elements the fires of anger the winds of change the strength of earth and the motion of water
