Your Heart Beats Faster (Guy Version)
As you step onto the green field you see her sitting on the bleachers
The same place you saw her at the first game and ever since
When you see her you smile
The blow of the whistle cuts you off and the game begins
After the first quarter you run into the locker room filled with the football team
You run and open your locker and grab the deodorant and spray it on
You close it and run back outside to the game
You see she has left probably grabbing a snack
You agree with your choice and jog to the team where they have huddled up for the second quarter
After the ever so long plays half time finally arrives
You ask the speaker/ director of the game to announce her name on the speaker and tell her to come center field
On her way down she picks up several guys and they come along
The speaker tells her one special boy asked you to come down here
Around her everyone is saying it's them
Your heart breaks
All hope is lost
You slam your helmet into the grungy old bench and take a seat
You look up only to lock eyes with her once more
You smile and in surprise she smiles back
You now know what to do
You walk over to her and take her hand
Hold it to your heart
You pick up her flimsy body and twirl her around twice before setting her down
You hold her pale face ever so gently like a baby's' and lean in to kiss her
But before you do you open your eyes only to realize it was just a dream
