Watch Me Die
I tore my heart out of my chest
Threw it your way and hoped you'd see
So shy, timid, polite you are
Take it? Or give it back to me?
I think you see it lying there
In the grass, beating just for you
But lack of action on your part
Says you see it not in the dew
You don't look down, just look at me
At all that remains of myself
I try my best to hide the pain
Of my quickly declining health
I will you to look down at it
But I don't think you ever will
Even if you don't see my heart
I will constantly love you still
And then you slowly walk away
You left without saying goodbye
I am left to watch my heart
My heart is left to watch me die
