Flashing
Noise pours through the air and invades, overflows.
Flashing red, bright, flashing
Angry, harsh white
Lighting faces with fear, sucking at shortly lived joy
And they run, they scream, they
Try to hide
From those air-born enemies whom nothing will halt but
Destruction;
But complete, utter death.
Stopping -
All thoughts in their tracks, all
Beauty, all creation.
Each lick of the fire
Licks at memories, dreams
Then they're gone.
Then they're gone,
In a single short second –
Endless.
It will live on.
