Alone
The breeze speaks softly to me and yearning to touch
No voice can be heard, for I know I am alone
And as the world shifts before my eyes, I know this much
The leaves of the trees have a secret they wish to share
Knowing only the loveliness of the clouds can bare
A secret, a wish, words, a whisper something I hear
Knowing that Mother nature has something dear
Haunting my mind is a picture of the forest green
A pciture in mind as in person, beautifully seen
The wind whispers very softly to me of a wish
Knowing a love for right now, I will never dismiss
A wish of you I have and in need of a wishing stone
For that I can be with you and never alone
