Seeing the Signs
Why can’t you see the signs?
I talk to you, I message you.
And yet you still don’t see the signs,
Don’t see what is happening to me too.
I know you’ve been through this,
I know you don’t see your problems,
But if I never breathe again, I have just one last wish:
Take them; Take all your problems and fix them.
Learn to love yourself for who you are,
Because I am telling you right now you are beautiful,
You are perfect. And I will watch you, even if from afar,
Until you see the truth. I will still care, as usual.
I wish I could tell you everything is fine.
I wish I could tell you everything will be alright.
But it’s not. My soul is like a tangled vine.
But it won’t be. My future is none too bright.
I love you, with all my heart.
You are special to me, and you are my world.
But the darkness in my soul keeps us apart.
The winds of life have swirled.
They have chosen my future, my fate.
And every time something happens, the outcome of my future declines.
I am throwing you all of this bate.
Why can’t you see the signs?
