Drenched In Rain
Laying in the damp grass
I stay,
Rain glides down, softly tapping
My face like silent whispers that fade,
I close my eyes as they slide
Down my face like endless tears,
The soft padding slows my heart,
Making it thump with its rhythm,
The rain seems to be everyone's
Sorrow, slowly flooding the land,
Rushing and pounding closer
and closer till it reaches you,
But they also seem to be their
Content hearts,
Sad and Calms emotions invade
The pure tears,
It saddens me, for I wonder
What those pure tears feel
Like then they softly kiss you
