Disgraced
Declare your genuine soul
Raise your chin proudly
But I can see your eyes wander
Following the parade of Beauty
That has no eyes for you
Cool and aimless beauty
You seek her hopelessly
Like a beggar seeking bread
You should be ashamed, my diseased friend
And diseased I shall call you, infiltrated as you are
With convoluted images
Of so called Elegance
And Grace
You fail to lie beside the spring
And notice fabricated Beauty
Is not welcome there
So pretend to write poetry
And disregard society
When after all, you grasp man’s empty word
And wander in Beauty’s wake
I pity you
