The Smiling Doll
I feel the rush of wind,
The heat of flame,
The sturdiness of the ground,
And coolness of water,
Being alone can be scary,
But for me it is most soothing,
I do not like the cramped feeling
Of being around people,
Every one is expecting me to smile
All the time,
My muscles around my mouth
Begin to burn,
When I stop smiling they
Ask are you mad? Are you sad?
It just shows they don’t know me,
Just because I don’t smile doesn’t mean I’m not
Happy,
This is why I don’t like people,
They expect you to be a smiling
Doll all the time,
I am not a doll
