Love's a Demon
Cast out of heaven
The angel sees a beautiful boy
Even though she'd fallen
The angel feels a bit lucky
The boy notices the angel
Smiling, they become friends
But the boy was so beautiful
The angel wanted more
A fallen angel, cursed by God
What she wanted was impossible
But nothing is impossible for God
So the cursed angel pleaded
And cried and begged
But would God grant her wish?
The beautiful boy
Sees the poor girl crying
He asks what she's praying for
The angel smiles sadly
An angel that was cast out
She knew the boy didn't know
That she wanted to be
'More than friends'
All she wanted now was his love
Would God answer her prayer?
All this time, he had known her wish
But he never loved her
Because...
And now the fallen angel
Mourns her beautiful friend
How had she not seen..?
How had she not known..?
The angel, of all, should know that
Angels and demons can't love
As for the mournful angel
She knew that she could never
Love anyone else this way again
But angels can't love demons
Even if the demon is lovely
So one last time she prayed...
